Rutland Health Foundation Golf Tournament
160 golfers enjoyed a magnificent day at the beautiful
Rutland Country Club while supporting vital health and education
programs in the greater Rutland community. Through the generosity
of our sponsors, $30,000 in net proceeds will be distributed
to: Kids on the Move, pediatric rehabilitation program;
Bridges and Beyond; a volunteer support program and the
Maternal Child Health program, a comprehensive, informative
childbirth education program.
Special thanks to the Rutland Health Foundation Golf Invitational
Steering Committee for their commitment to the success of
the tournament. Additional thanks to the Rutland Country
Club and staff for their hospitality and to Greg Nelson,
Rutland Country Club head golf professional for a very memorable
event.
Lead sponsors for the event were: BlueCross BlueShield of
Vermont and The Vermont Health Plan and Orthopaedic Health
Services. Alderman's Chevrolet supplied the hole-in-one
coverage.
