Alan Woodard Memorial Ride Against Cancer Raises over $5,000 for the Community Cancer Center

On June 7th, over 75 family, friends and supporters gathered together to
honor the life of Alan Woodard and celebrate his unique spirit at the
5th Annual Alan Woodard Memorial Bike Ride against Cancer. The event
raised $5,200 and will benefit the Community Cancer Center at Rutland
Regional Medical Center The ride was started in memory of Alan Woodard
who died in 2001 after a courageous battle with cancer and has raised
over $11,000.

"We are truly grateful for this wonderful gift of support," said Dr.
Allan Eisemann, Medical Director of the Community Cancer Center. "Their
commitment to the Cancer Center provides comfort and care to patients
and their families facing the challenges of cancer."

The Community Cancer Center at Rutland Regional Medical Center delivers
the finest and most advanced available cancer treatments to patients and
offers patients and their families access to clinical trials, educational programs, support groups, informational resources and more.
